302 of 3 million, or 12100 to 300, fewer than 3% of those who voted. I can pretty much guarantee you most of the 302 thumbs down were women (or gay men–not that there’s anything wrong with that). I’m a behaviorist by trade and I’m still trying to figure out why there’s such a divide between men and women and finding Monty Python humor funny. Other than Oprah (which has the opposite problem), I don’t know of any other entertainers which have such a huge divide sexually. So strange!

No offense intended, but if you were born in 71, I’ve got AT LEAST 5 years on you as a fan, and I know of people who went to see them give live performances in the US. In fact, John Cleese commented on the US concerts saying he couldn’t understand why there was no laughter during the US concerts, until he realized the entire audience was saying the words of the skit along with him!!! Not that I don’t believe you REALLY love the humor, but biggest American fan? Stand in line…
